Sharon Stone: I'm available

Sharon Stone says she’s now ready to play the field.

The 56-year-old actress is mother to three young sons, having adopted the children between 2000 and 2006.

After divorcing her second husband, Phil Bronstein, a decade ago, Sharon hasn’t been interested in pursuing romance. But she’s now open to the idea again.

“I am available for dating,” she told Extra.

“What’s happened is my kids have reached the age where I feel comfortable to date. I didn’t want to date when they were little… who needs a bunch of people running in and out of their lives? Now I feel comfortable dating.”

When Sharon isn’t contemplating over matters of the heart, the star is focused on contributing to society.

The longtime philanthropist is currently promoting her campaign Sharity, which aids war-torn regions.

“I went into my closet and gave two thirds of my wardrobe, my really good stuff, best designer pieces, to fund this peace movement in the Middle East,” she gushed. “We have amazing people participating in this, and it’s just so exciting.”

Sharon has been married twice before and she divorced her first husband Michael Greenburg in 1990 after six years of marriage.

The actress was recently linked to newly single actor Antonio Banderas, after he and estranged wife Melanie Griffith announced their separation last month.

But Sharon has refuted claims she and Antonio are dating.

“Antonio is a brother to me and Melanie has been with me for each and every birth of my three children,” she said in a statement. “They are my family. I find this salacious, unkind, unfounded reporting to be the typical pretence of what passes as ‘journalism’ today.”

Sharon was responding to reports that ran in British magazine Grazia. The publication claimed the couple were making plans for a summer getaway together.
