Sheen hunting for 'half-otter man'

Charlie Sheen has been hunting for a mythological monster

Charlie Sheen has jetted to Alaska - to hunt for a half-otter man.

The Anger Management star and some friends flew to chilly Sitka on his plush private jet in a bid to track down the mythological creature Kushtaka, reported TMZ.

Former hellraiser Charlie, who recently went on a mission to find the Loch Ness monster, said the creature is "a shape-shifting trickster who is half man, half otter".

"It lures one away from the campsite with the mimicked sounds of a crying baby, then kills you, takes on YOUR form, and returns to the scene for more suckers or prey," claimed the former Two And A Half Men star.

However, the mysterious creature eluded Charlie this time.

"It obviously knew our group was far too skilled to be snowed in this fashion so it stayed hidden like a sissy," said the 47-year-old.

Charlie's latest adventure comes just weeks after he flew to Scotland to hunt for the Loch Ness monster.

The star posted a picture of himself and his friend Brian Pekk on Twitter, with Charlie in a bronze helmet. Referring to science college the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he wrote: "Once again MIT grant sanctioned archaeologists Pekk & Sheen, rig battle gear for tonight's sortie on the Loch Ness."

According to TMZ, the friends rented out a castle and a boat and headed out to search for Nessie, with a bottle of scotch.
