Lindsay Lohan will eventually get through her rocky patch and "come out on top", according to co-star Charlie Sheen.
The starlet has been plagued by personal and legal troubles for several years, but former Two And A Half Men star Charlie - who worked with Li-Lo on Scary Movie 5 - said during an interview on America's Tonight Show that he is sure she will turn her life around.
Charlie, who has his fair share of controversy, told host Jay Leno: "I mean she's going through a lot of stuff.
"But she's smart and super-talented and will come out on top eventually, you know."
Charlie, who also referred to the actress as "terrific", commented on reports that he bailed Lindsay out by helping to pay her tax bill last year.
The Anger Management star explained he was offered a good sum to do a cameo in Scary Movie 5, in which he shared a scene with Lindsay.
He went on: "So when I heard they hired Lindsay, I thought, 'Fabulous,' but then they took half my money to give to her and she didn't get it all. And when I found this out, I said, 'You got shorted a hundred grand,' so I... gave it to her."
