Sheridan Smith insists she is happy being single as she is so busy working.
The 31-year-old actress - whose last serious relationship was with James Corden - told the Daily Mirror she has been single for three years, and is leaving any plans to settle down and start a family on hold for now.
Sheridan said: "I've been single for three years. People have linked me with people, but I've always been single. To be honest, I'm happily single."
The actress - who last year starred in TV hit Mrs Biggs and won rave reviews on stage in Hedda Gabler - is busy making two films, including Belly Dancers For Beginners in Turkey, and will appear in Jonathan Creek over Easter.
Sheridan said: "I'm enjoying working so much. People go: 'Why are you single?', but it's because I actually love my job.
"I'm so grateful to be working. I like to think that, at 31, I've still got time to put things on hold, like a family.
"It's all going so well right now, I don't want to ruin all that. This could all end tomorrow and I always touch wood and wonder how long it's going to last."
