Shia LaBeouf's 'fight explanation'
Shia LaBeouf claimed he "only wanted to make peace" after he was allegedly caught on camera head butting a man.
The actor has hit headlines recently for the wrong reasons of late. After admitting, and apologising for, plagiarising another artist's work the star has been heavily mocked by other celebrities, most recently by Jim Carey at the Golden Globe Awards.
Last night he was allegedly caught on camera head-butting a man in a London pub, after his girlfriend Mia Goth received verbal abuse involving her mother.
Following the supposed attack, Shia was recorded giving what appears to be a drunken explanation for his behaviour in a video posted on TMZ.
"I'm not sure I'm going to have any more problems, you know what I'm saying? I'm really just trying to make peace. I'm a normal human being, I except what I've got to get into to do what I love," he said as the camera shows him rolling a cigarette with a group of friends.
"I am a human being, you know what I mean? I'm super normal. Like more normal than most. When people want to get hostile, and sh*t on my girl's mom and say things that are out of turn... And I'm sorry about that, and I've got no control over that. I'm just trying to make peace."
A female friend can be heard in the video saying that she was "shoved" first, and that everyone's just a bit drunk.
Shia appeared to retreat from public life last week and took to his Twitter page to inform fans of his decision.
"In light of the recent attacks against my artistic integrity, I am retiring from all public life.
"My love goes out to those who have supported me.
"I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE," he told fans in a series of tweets.
