Brooke Shields is set to film a starring role in The Michael J Fox Show.

The Suddenly Susan actress will record an arc of episodes as a single mum who gets involved in a surprising new romance, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

She will play a nerdy character who goes to ballroom dancing lessons and meets Ian Henry (Conor Romero), the 19-year-old son of Mike Henry, played by Michael.

Brooke will appear in three episodes of the NBC show next year.

Other high-profile guest stars bagged by the sitcom have included Anne Heche and Sting.

Brooke recently directed musical Chicago at the Hollywood Bowl and has also had roles in TV shows Army Wives and Super Fun Night.

Don't let a manipulator take advantage of you. Someone with a sob story will ask for money or favours. Be prepared to turn them away. Although you want to be gracious, it simply isn't wise to give assistance to people with bad motives. Other people have warned you about this trickster. Take their advice. There's often a good reason why a person has a bad reputation. If anyone dares accuse you of being selfish, stay strong. You have a right to use your hard earned money for your own benefit.More
