Simon Cowell 'all over' Carmen Electra

Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra have been "all over each other" while filming a television show.

The former Baywatch star is standing in for Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, who gave birth to her second child last week.

The blonde beauty received a mixed welcome from the audience but she seems to be a hit with Simon.

According to insiders, the pair have been flirting up a storm during filming and couldn't keep their hands off each other.

"Everyone was stunned when Carmen turned up. But it's become increasingly obvious why Simon booked Carmen. As Tuesday's auditions wore on, they were inseparable," an onlooker told British newspaper The Sun. "It was embarrassing the way they were all over each other. They were play-hitting each other like awkward teenagers."

The media mogul recently admitted that he is on a break from fiancée Mezghan Hussainy.

Following the Britain's Got Talent audition on Tuesday he wrote on Twitter that Carmen was "very cute".

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Simon has had special lighting installed for the new series of the show.

According to a crew member, he is the only judge on the panel to have extra lights shining on him.

"It's hilarious. The lights are only on his part of the desk - it's an obvious attempt to get one up on the other judges. No matter where he turns there is more light on him than the others - which makes him look better on camera," the insider told the publication. "It appears he has a healthy glow - but it's subtle trickery."

The 51-year-old also has the constant support of a make-up artist, who regularly dashes on set between auditions to touch up his face.

A source admitted that he is the only judge to receive such attention.

"Simon has the most gorgeous make-up artist who works only on him. Julia darts out in between every act and works her magic on his touch-ups," the source said. "The other judges don't get this kind of attention and it's all part of making sure Simon is the undisputed star of the show."
