Simon Cowell invited a spiritualist to "heal" his house and bring "positive energy".
The X Factor mogul has recently faced disappointing ratings with the talent show, both in the UK and America.
Simon reportedly believes the bad luck could be down to vengeful spirits of women he has wronged - and the only way to banish them is to cleanse his Los Angeles mansion.
"Hello. I had someone heal my house. Strange but great," the 52-year-old posted on his Twitter account.
"The healer brings in good energy. Someone told me about it. It takes a couple of days."
In Tom Bower's biography of Simon Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell, the star's unusual obsessions were revealed. He apparently has weekly vitamin jabs administered by a personal doctor and prefers using black toilet paper.
It was also alleged that Simon suffered a nervous breakdown due to his hectic work schedule and detailed many of his romantic relationships.
Now the mogul hopes the "healing" will turn his bad luck around.
"What a result. Simon is now on top form," a source told British newspaper The Daily Star.
"Getting a healer to cleanse the house may sound odd, but if it gives him peace of mind, why not?"
