Simon Cowell shows his funny side

Simon Cowell and Sinitta attended the special performance of The Book Of Mormon

Simon Cowell happily posed wearing a red nose as he attended a celebrity VIP gala performance of the new musical The Book Of Mormon in aid of Comic Relief.

The Britain's Got Talent judge took old friend Sinitta to see the comedy musical from the creators of South Park in London's West End, where they rubbed shoulders with other star guests including Kate Moss, Lily Allen, Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter.

Sinitta tweeted: "Just seen. #TheBookOfMormon. The West End Theatre is On Fire!! Rule Brittania."

Other star guests at the show were Comic Relief founder Richard Curtis, James Corden, Michael McIntyre, David Walliams and his pregnant wife Lara Stone.

The Book Of Mormon aims to raise £200,000 for Red Nose Day.

All ticket sales to high profile Comic Relief supporters, as well as the public, will be donated to Red Nose Day. And all tickets sold via the box office until September will include an optional £1 donation to the charity.
