Jessica Simpson is celebrating becoming a mum after giving birth to a baby girl.
A publicist for the singer confirmed that the star had welcomed a daughter named Maxwell Drew Johnson in Los Angeles.
It's the first child for 31-year-old Jessica and her 32-year-old fiance Eric Johnson, a former professional US football player.
Maxwell weighed in at a healthy nine pounds, 13 ounces.
"We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received," Jessica said in a statement on her website. "This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!"
