Singer Jenkins nervous about DWTS
Katherine Jenkins has admitted she is battling the nerves ahead of her debut on Dancing With The Stars.
The Welsh opera singer is one of the contestants on the new series of the US TV show - America's version of Strictly Come Dancing - and she told the New York Post's Page Six that it's a bit out of her "comfort zone".
She said: "While I am so excited to be part of the show, I am a little nervous because I don't yet know what I am letting myself in for."
Katherine, who split from TV presenter fiance Gethin Jones late last year, added: "This is something out of my comfort zone, it will be a challenge and hopefully something I will enjoy. I am ready for a challenge. I just hope I am physically up for the challenge."
The 31-year-old will be strutting her stuff on the dancefloor with Mark Ballas and they are now getting ready to start training.
The singer will be up against fellow celebs including soul star Gladys Knight, Melrose Place actor Jack Wagner, singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw and tennis player Martina Navratilova when the show returns to screens later this month.
Katherine and Mark were pictured looking touchy feely in a taxi together at the weekend after dining at London's Brompton club, sparking rumours of a romance.
But the singer tweeted: "Wow, didn't take long for the rumour mill to start... Ridiculous.
"NO truth in these rumours... Come on guys, it's only been 2 months! Heart's still mending."
