Sinitta: Tulisa could be exciting

Tulisa Contostavlos has been tipped as a new X Factor judge

Tulisa Contostavlos could be a lively addition to the X Factor panel, Sinitta has said.

The N-Dubz singer is tipped to be in the running for Cheryl Cole's seat on the ITV show, and Sinitta - who helps out on the series - has given her the thumbs up.

"I don't know that much about her. I can imagine all the things people are going to say, that she is too young and how is she qualified? But, if you think back a few years, everyone said the same about Cheryl. We just have to give her a chance," she told New! magazine.

"N-Dubz have quite a reputation for foul language and being rowdy. They have that sort of vibe. And the fact that she is hanging out with two guys the whole time means she must have had to toughen up. But that could be exciting. She could be a bit like an early Kelly Osbourne, in your face, opinionated and feisty."

Sinitta heaped praise on Kelly Rowland, who's also in the frame for a judge's role.

"Having someone from Destiny's Child would be great. She obviously has the experience," she added.

"I've met her a few times and she's really lovely. She's louder than you would imagine and she's quite a funny girl, too. People tend to think that in Destiny's Child Beyonce [Knowles] was the upfront, loud, diva-type character, but Kelly's got a lot of personality and she is a sexy mamma."
