Sinitta has accused the X Factor judges of being more badly-behaved than ever before.
Simon Cowell's 42-year-old pal joked she had to put on armour backstage to avoid the sparks flying between the judges.
She said: "This series has been so combative. It is honestly like Tom and Jerry. They have never been this bad."
She put the tension down to how much the judges want to win.
She said: "Both the judges and the contestants are hungrier than they have ever been. Everyone deserves the place in the final, which is why everyone is so competitive."
Sinitta also admitted that Wagner's departure will make the atmosphere a little better.
"The other contestants will be relieved now Wagner has gone, as will Simon. We can now get back to concentrating on talent."
Despite the constant rumours of vote fixes, Sinitta defended the public voting system.
"It is the only way we can know what the public really want."
