Sofía Vergara wants risqué role

Sofía Vergara

Sofía Vergara would “love” to have a go at playing more “dramatic” characters.

The Modern Family star is known for her gorgeous looks and is usually portrays attractive women in her work.

Whereas the Colombian actress doesn’t mind being typecast, she would be open to trying some different kinds of characters.

“I’ve never been shy about it or apologised about it. I love it. If they need a sexy woman, I don’t care – I’m not dying to prove anything else,” she explained to the British edition of OK! magazine. “It’s like I would love to do something a little more dramatic and maybe like a sick patient or like a crazy hooker or something like that [laughs]. But I’m happy playing characters that are portrayed sexy because I am who I am and I take advantage of that.”

Along with her successful career, the 40-year-old beauty is happily engaged to businessman Nick Loeb.

Sofía already has son Manolo with former husband Joe Gonzalez, but with Nick two years her junior, the beauty would be open to more children.

“My son is 21 years old. I just got rid of him!” she joked.

“He went to college. So to start over is difficult. But I think once you love a person, you have to compromise. And Nick is younger than me, so he’s never had a kid. So he’s brainwashing me a little bit. And now I’m thinking about it. I mean, why not?”
