Sofia Vergara engagement ring details

Sofia Vergara

Sofía Vergara's impressive engagement ring is a "reflection" of the actress.

The Modern Family star was in Mexico celebrating her 40th birthday when her on-off boyfriend Nick Loeb proposed recently. Although there have been rumours she hasn't fully accepted the marriage offer, Sofía is smitten with the ring.

Nick worked with Scott Udell from New York's London Jewelers to create the diamond band, which is believed to be worth several hundred thousand dollars.

"I worked with Nick personally to design the ring, and we tried to make it a reflection of Sofía. It is a beautiful three-stone ring. The centre stone is square, a seven-carat cushion-cut diamond. It has two diamonds on the side, and the brilliance of the three stones together makes it look like a ten-carat ring," Scott is quoted as saying by the New York Post.

Sofía has been dating Nick for around two years, but the pair reportedly split in May.

They got back together just a few weeks later and he joined the actress for her milestone celebrations with friends and family in Mexico this month.

Nick is believed to have popped the question at the Rosewood Mayakoba luxury resort in the Riviera Maya.
