Sofía Vergara partied with a "handsome male model" over the weekend.

The Modern Family star sparked speculation she had split from Nick Loeb when she attended the Met Ball in New York City alone last week.

Sofía appears to be embracing her new single status and was spotted with a group of "attractive" friends at Soho House in New York on Saturday.

The stunning star - who was joined by CoverGirl model Jessica Stam - was not short of admirers, according to the New York Post.

"Sofia was seated opposite a handsome male model," an insider told the publication. "But she seemed more distracted by her phone, which kept ringing."

It has been reported that the 39-year-old beauty has enjoyed several nights out with her female friends recently.

Representatives for Sofía and Nick - who were together for more than two years - are not commenting on the split.

The break up was reported last week, with claims that the couple decided to take a break following a series of arguments.

"Sofía was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split. They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now," a source said.
