Sofia Vergara 'TV pregnancy complaints'

Sofía Vergara's onscreen pregnancy appears to be taking its toll - as she is complaining of a bad back and swollen feet.

The beauty may only be acting pregnant for her TV show Modern Family, but her co-star Ty Burrell jokes she is experiencing a host of symptoms in real life. Sofía has been wearing a prosthetic baby bump on the set recently, as her character Gloria Delgado-Pritchett is expecting a baby.

Ty claims the heavy suit is difficult for Sofía to work with.

"I think she may be having a parallel experience where she isn't pregnant but she's constantly complaining about her back from the fake belly and that her feet are swelling," he revealed during an interview with ET. "It's essentially like she's pregnant."

Sofía recently revealed carrying the extra weight around during filming was "horrible" as she feels uncomfortable and hot wearing the fake bump.

Despite the 40-year-old star's dislike for the suit, there have been rumours Sofía is considering having a child with her fiancé Nick Loeb.

Ty also spoke about Modern Family's recent Emmys success. This was the third time the show picked up the awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, and Ty insists the cast and crew were shocked to be honoured again.

"Nobody went in expecting to win again so we were really, really excited," he gushed. "The bulk of us in the cast are still very firmly in the camp of being happy to be employed... so just having the job has been such the reward but that kind of thing has been really fun and a little surreal."
