Speidi 'shocked' at £3,500 bill

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt faced a massive laundry bill when they left the Celebrity Big Brother house

Speidi were "shocked" after they were handed a £3,500 bill for washing just four suitcases worth of clothes in London after Celebrity Big Brother.

The American couple - Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag - revealed they splashed out on the extravagant service at the five-star Dorchester hotel in Mayfair.

The pair had to get their clothes washed after they left the reality TV house last month, as they had worn them "multiple times" and wanted to stay in the UK a bit longer.

Spencer said: "We had no idea to clean your clothes in England costs so much. In America to clean your clothes is a couple of hundred dollars and we got a bill for £3,500 and we were shocked to realise things in London are way more expensive that things in the US.

"I don't even think my clothes combined altogether could have cost that much times two, so if I'd have known it was going to cost that much I would have thrown those clothes away and bought new clothes.

"At least the Dorchester wrapped it very nicely so that made it totally worth it. They were very clean. To be honest, Heidi is better at it. Heidi's definitely a domestic goddess."

The pair came second on Celebrity Big Brother, behind X Factor star Rylan.

A show about the couple, called Speidi: Scandal, Secrets And Surgery!, will air on February 19 at 10pm on Channel 5.

This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit.
