The Spice Girls "partied till the break of dawn" after their performance at the Olympic closing ceremony.
The former British girl group reunited for the dazzling event in London on Sunday evening, singing classics such as Spice Up Your Life as they raced around the Olympic stadium on the top of individually designed black taxi cabs.
Their performance was well received by the billions watching around the world and their excitement appeared to last well into the early hours of Monday.
Although Victoria Beckham was not involved in the after-show celebrations, Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Mel B and Emma Bunton all let their hair down.
"Party till the break of dawn! And Mels still in her outfit!!! (sic)" Emma tweeted as she posed with Geri, Mel B who was still in her stunning nude catsuit and Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher, who performed Wonderwall at the closing ceremony.
Mel C was quick to jokingly berate her bandmate for remaining in her stage costume.
"ffs@OfficialMelB it's done, get changed lol! x x (sic)" she teased.
Mel C made no secret of her delight at performing at the high-profile event. The sport-mad star has been avidly watching a variety of Olympic events over the past few weeks.
"Ha ha! Had one hours sleep, too excited!" she tweeted. "What an honour to represent our country and perform for all of the incredible Olympians. We salute you one and all #coloursoftheworld x x (sic)"
