Stars celebrate inspiring women

Stars were out in force tonight at a glitzy showbiz awards bash to celebrate Britain's inspiring women.

Rock legend Ronnie Wood, 67, and his wife Sally, 36, and Anne-Marie Duff, who starred in the television show Shameless, were among the celebrities to hit the red carpet for the Red Women of the Year awards.

They were joined by Radio DJ Edith Bowman, 40, who stood out by wearing a white jump-suit teamed with emerald green strappy heels and a black handbag for the ceremony.

Actress Sadie Frost, 49, and flame-haired fashion model Olivia Inge were also among the guests at the annual show, held at the Ham Yard Hotel in London's trendy Soho.

Red magazine has joined forces with make-up brand Clinique to throw the awards ceremony, which recognises the achievements of women across all walks of life.
