Stars Make Some Noise for charity

Pointless quiz master Alexander Armstrong has got together with Katherine Jenkins and Myleene Klass to record a charity single.

They are joined by other famous faces including John Suchet, Aled Jones and Alfie Boe on the track which will be written by composer Howard Goodall, with all the proceeds going to Global Radio's Make Some Noise charity.

The single, which will be recorded on October 9 and released a day later, features Myleene on the piano and Classic FM presenter John on trombone.

Katherine said: "I have always been passionate about music. I am honoured to be able to use my passion to help others and raise money for Global's Make Some Noise."

The charity raises money to support projects working with ill and disadvantaged children around the country.

Classic FM managing editor Sam Jackson said: "It's great that we are able to bring together our friends from the classical music world to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children by making some memorable noise for Global's Make Some Noise."
