Oscar-winners and EastEnders stars have rubbed shoulders with X Factor judges at an awards ceremony recognising Asian excellence.
Olympic supremo Lord Coe hosted the Asian Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, central London.
Among the winners were former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, who won the music award, and writer Hanif Kureishi who won the arts award.
Other winners included Sir Ben Kingsley, who won an Oscar for his performance in Gandhi and was given the fellowship award, and Nina Wadia.
The actress, who plays Zainab Masood in EastEnders, won the television award.
Government minister Baroness Verma of Leicester, who chaired the judging panel, said: "The Asian Awards is an inspirational platform from which to celebrate some of the world's most inspiring people."
