Stefani: I’m proud of my marriage

Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale still “want the same thing”.

The No Doubt singer tied the knot with Bush front man Gavin Rossdale 12 years ago. The couple have three children together, Kingston, eight, Zuma, six and Apollo, 11 months, and Gwen is thrilled that she and her spouse still value the same things.

“If I look back on the whole thing the one thing that's been constant is that we both want the same thing," the 45-year-old told the Today show, before welling up. “We both want to be married. We both want to be good parents, and so I feel really proud of what we've done together and that we don't...You're gonna get me crying, no don't, I'm going to get all emotional! But I am really proud of it.”

The blonde beauty first met the 49-year-old in 1995 while on tour before marrying in London in 2002.

It isn’t only her marriage that is going strong, as Gwen’s singing career remains as successful as ever and during her chat she announced that she would be performing at her first solo concert in seven years. The show will take place on February 7 at LA's Orpheum Theatre, but the star needs to refresh her memory when it comes to the words of her most famous tracks.

“I've just started listening to all my old songs again and I'm starting to learn them all,” she admitted with a laugh. “I don't remember any of the lyrics, it was such a moment in time!”
