Stereo Kicks: We'll stay together

Stereo Kicks have vowed to stay together after becoming the latest act to be voted off The X Factor.

The eight lads - Barclay Beales, Chris Leonard, Casey Johnson and Jake Sims, who are all 19, 20-year-old Tom Mann, 17-year-old James Graham, 16-year-old Reece Bibby and baby of the group Charlie Jones, 14 - all entered the ITV show as solo artists and were put together at boot camp.

Louis Walsh went on to admit he thinks eight is too big for a boy band, but despite speculation during the show that they would lose a few members, the lads plan to stick together.

Casey said: "We're going to give everything we can now. We're going to get ourselves out there, do a couple of gigs - we've already got some coming up for this weekend.

"Then, fingers crossed we get signed, that's what we want.

"We're not a five-piece, we're not a four-piece, we're an eight piece - it's new and it's fresh."

The boys all previously confessed they cried when they found out they were through to the live finals. And they were just as emotional over getting the boot.

James revealed: "I think we all cried last night."

Chris added: "I was crying like a baby!"
