Steve Jones is to host the US version of the X Factor, alongside former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.
Former T4 star Steve has been confirmed as a co-host on the Simon Cowell show, which will make its debut in the US this autumn.
Cowell has also recruited Paula Abdul as one of the judges on the Fox programme, reuniting the pair after their stint as judges on American Idol.
They will be joined by Cheryl Cole and Grammy-winning producer Antonio LA Reid.
The competition is open to solo singers and vocal groups age 12 and up. The winner will get a five million dollar (£3 million) record contract.
