Steven Tyler 'surrounded by models at club'

Steven Tyler was reportedly "surrounded by models" as he partied at a New York City nightclub this week.

The rocker played a concert at Madison Square Garden with his band Aerosmith on Tuesday. While on stage he told the crowd he was planning to head to hip establishment The Darby afterwards to celebrate the show and even asked his fans to party there too.

According to New York Post, many of his admirers took Steven at his word, resulting in the doorman having to deny people entry. Inside, the 64-year-old seemed unaffected by the chaos he'd caused and just wanted to have a good time.

"Steven was in front of the DJ booth, and was dancing and requesting DJ Mick Boogie put on songs by Rihanna and the Rolling Stones," a source told the publication.

"He was surrounded by models."

Another onlooker claimed there were various ladies "all around him" and standing by his table. The excitable musician was only too happy to have his picture taken with some of the partygoers, but apparently chatted to them in a friendly way rather than being too flirty.

The rocker became engaged to Erin Brady in December 2011 and was forced to deny claims they had split last month. While Steven appeared to admit they have been struggling recently via his spokesperson, it was insisted they are still together.

"Just as any couple goes through trials and tribulations in a relationship, Steven and Erin are asking for their privacy at this time. They are engaged to be married and each is committed to their sobriety," the representative said.

Steven and Erin have battled addiction issues and it was alleged they had separated to ensure he was well enough to tour with the band.
