Steve-O and Stacey Solomon ‘split’

Steve-O and Stacey Solomon have reportedly gone their separate ways after six months together.

The Jackass star and X Factor singer met while competing in The Jump in February, a reality TV show which sees people trying their hand at winter sports. Although initially thought of as a surprising couple, the pair won fans over with their romantic displays at industry events.

However it's now reported they have called things off, as they couldn't spend enough time together. While Steve-O is based in America, Stacey lives in the UK.

"Stacey found it hard being away from Steve-O, so they decided to put their relationship on hold," an insider told British newspaper The Sun.

“He has a huge tour in the States, as that’s where his fanbase is. The relationship developed quickly and was a real whirlwind, but for the time being it’s not to be."

According to the publication, although the former couple were introduced on the slopes while shooting The Jump, love didn't blossom until later. It's claimed they barely even flirted while recording to the series.

Romance soon bloomed though, with Stacey, 25, even introducing the prankster to her sons Zachary, seven, and three-year-old Leighton.

Steve-O has been touring with his stand-up show in the States lately, which means the pair haven't been able to see each other very much. Neither of their representatives have commented on the report yet, with the pair also not posting any social media messages to each other of late.

During their time together, the stars were happy to discuss their romance, with Steve-O joking about how quickly he noticed Stacey during The Jump.

"We were in Austria for six weeks together [for The Jump] and pretty much on the first night I was just getting creepy and looking her up online," he laughed on TV show Celebrity Juice. I liked her right away and we just started having a great time."

Stacey admitted not being that familiar with her beau's Jackass work, with the show seeing him complete dangerous, and sometimes disgusting, dares. He was only too happy to fill her in though.

"I obviously saw the movies when I got older but what he does is irrelevant, I just like him as a person," she told Free Radio.

"He talks about it [Jackass], he's quite open about it and casual like, 'Oh, one time I did this,' and I'm like, 'Oh! Let's save that for after the watershed.'"
