Susan Boyle braced for outcry over Pink Floyd and John Lennon covers

By Staff Reporter

Chart-topping performer Susan Boyle is preparing for the wrath of rock fans by tackling classic tunes by the likes of Pink Floyd and John Lennon for her new album.

The global singing star has stamped her mark on Floyd's Wish You Were Here as well as Lennon's hit Imagine, which has gone on to become a global peace anthem, for her sixth release Hope.

Boyle admitted that some of the choices on her album were "a risk" and she knows there will be criticism, but she hoped that people would like her "personal take".

"I hope I've done them justice in my own way," said the singer who found fame on Britain's Got Talent.
