Taylor Swift has apparently bought a Rhode Island mansion for $17.5million in cash and was seen moving in on Saturday.

The country singer purchased a mansion in Rhode Island and apparently paid for the property directly.

Taylor has been considering the palatial pad for a few weeks now according to TMZ.

She was pictured looking around the place wither family in tow on April 15.

Real estate sources allege that the home is around 11,000 sq ft and is placed on 5.23 acres of land.

The asking price was thought to be around $20 million however Taylor got a good deal by eventually only paying $17.75 million.

Taylor is believed to have wired the funds over straight away to avoid delay in claiming the property.

Movers were spotted transferring her belongings into the building early on Saturday morning.

In the lead up to her grand buy she was rumoured to be looking at houses in Connecticut too.

However her budget for a place there was much less expensive and reported to be around $4.3million.

Taylor sold her Hyannis Port, Massachusetts home in March for almost $1 million more than she bought it for last summer.

The star sold it after splitting up with Conor Kennedy—who lived in the Kennedy family compound nearby— just months before she moved out.
