Tamera Mowry-Housley: I feel I've been pregnant forever

Tamera Mowry-Housley

Tamera Mowry-Housley says that thoughts of "excitement and anxiety" have truly set in as she gets ready to give birth to her first child.

The Sister Sister star is expecting a baby boy with husband Adam Housley who she wed just over a year ago.

And she reveals in her People blog that she is filled with mixed emotions about impending motherhood.

"I can now say that I am down to the wire," she wrote. "I seriously feel like I have been pregnant forever. Almost 10 months to be exact! Thirty-nine weeks in and no baby yet. 'This has now become a waiting game,' my OB told me."

"Thoughts of excitement, anxiety and exhaustion have truly set in. Echoes of my husband Adam's voice cheering me on saying, 'You can do it' keep ringing in my ear as I eagerly await my due date (next Tuesday the 30th!).

Tamera also reveals ways that she has tried to naturally induce her labour including drinking pineapple juice, evening primrose oil, a glass of wine and even spicy food but that didn't go well as she ended up with food poisoning.
