Tara Reid reportedly lost her temper when a Los Angeles store refused to give her a discount.

The actress went shopping for a new outfit for the Coachella music festival and it seems she was eager to grab a bargain. Tara allegedly lost her temper when staff at the Los Angeles branch of All Saints failed to agree to reduce the price of the clothes she picked out.

“She was screaming. She had to be escorted out by security. She seemed drunk,” a source told New York Post. “She said she needed an outfit for Coachella, she demanded a discount.”

After she was refused, Tara reportedly insisted she deserved a reduction “because of her fame", with sources adding to the publication that she “began to scream at them and was escorted out.”

However, a representative for the American Pie star has defended Tara’s actions.

“Tara gets a huge discount with All Saints in the UK and Paris because she’s a walking billboard for them,” the rep snapped. “She gets photographed... so they give her huge hook ups. We told them we get a discount, and they said they’d email the press team,” the rep explained.

Tara’s spokesperson added that the 37-year-old was in a dressing room when a salesperson told her that her request had not been successful.

“Tara didn’t think it made sense and asked them to check again,” the rep said. “She was definitely not drunk. People love to say Tara’s hammered and this and that... whoever is saying that is not on Team Tara.”

Tara’s team claim the store offered to hold the items for her, and she left empty-handed of her own accord and was not asked to leave.

All Saints has not commented on the reports.
