Tate: I'd reprise Doctor Who role

Catherine Tate has revealed she would love to return to Doctor Who.

The comedian played the Time Lord's companion Donna Noble in the fourth series of the BBC Show - when David Tennant was in charge of the Tardis - and admitted she would happily reprise the role.

"Yes, I would be more than happy to [go back]," she told TV Times.

Asked about her favourite Doctor Who, she joked: "Is there any other Doctor beside David?"

Catherine, 45, is currently starring alongside David Walliams in new comedy series Big School, which is about a group of teachers struggling to educate a bunch of unenthusiastic teens in a run-of-the-mill comprehensive.
