Tattoo artist dishes on 1D's ink

One Direction

Tattoo artist Kevin Paul reveals that the body ink of One Direction group members are "all pretty different".

Kevin tattoos several members of the British pop band, which is comprised of singers Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan.

The designer recently tattooed two zig-zags and a 99 pence British currency symbol on Harry's body.

Kevin is intrigued by how the boys' tastes in tattoos vary.

"They are these tiny little bits and pieces," Kevin told MTV News.

"Everyone's different, like Zayn [Malik's] got microphones and music stuff and, like, Harry has more personal things, like he has little things for his mom and all that kind of stuff. They're all pretty different on what they have, like their ideas. [Harry] hasn't got proper tattoos. They're just scattered around. I think as he gets older he will want proper pieces and he'll have all these little pieces."

Although One Direction are pop superstars, Kevin won't compromise his craft for their desires.

Should he find that some idea wouldn't work, he refuses to tattoo it.

"If I don't think it's going to look good I'll tell them because it looks bad on me," Kevin said.

"With like Harry, Harry had loads if ideas last time and it was just all random things and I told him that really think about what you're going to have because it's all right now when you're 18, but like when you're 24 or 25, what is the little squiggles on the side of your arm going to look like?"

Gemini:

This is a good time to establish a routine. Create a schedule that strikes a nice balance between your personal and professional lives. You're the type of person who needs plenty of intellectual stimulation outside of work. If you've been spending too much time at the office, reduce your hours. This may mean less money, but you can't put a price on happiness. You might even decide to take a job with unconventional hours so you can play sports or spend more time outdoors.More
