Taylor Swift 'bonded with Styles over games'

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift and Harry Styles reportedly bonded over their "love of scrabble".

The American country star and One Direction boy band member have allegedly been dating since September.

The couple first became linked earlier this year and are thought to have rekindled their romance after Taylor split with Conor Kennedy. Reports say she has fallen for Harry super quickly as a result of them sharing many of the same interests.

"They have loads in common and talk about music endlessly - Harry thinks Taylor's music is brilliant and has been asking for song writing tips," a friend revealed to British magazine Look. "Plus, they both love scrabble!"

Although Taylor and Harry enjoyed a brief flirtation earlier this year, it wasn't serious. However, it's been claimed seeing her start a relationship with Conor in July made Harry wonder what he was missing.

"As soon as Harry found out Taylor was single again, he went after her. Dating has always been a bit of a cat and mouse game with him and he's never really had a girl say no to him before," the source continued. "When Taylor started dating Conor so soon after their dates, I think it made Harry realise how much he likes her. Both he and Taylor are very easy going people and they have incredible chemistry."

Taylor will be celebrating her 23rd birthday later this week and the One Direction heart throb has apparently thought hard about how they should celebrate. The 18-year-old wants to make it clear he is serious about his girlfriend without being too extravagant.

"Harry obviously likes how down to earth Taylor is," the source finished.

"He won't do anything flash for her because that's not either of their styles, but he will definitely be planning something romantic."
