Taylor Swift ‘comforted by Conor’

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is said to be seeking comfort from her ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy following her split from Harry Styles.

The pop star dated Conor last year and has allegedly turned to him again after her high-profile separation from One Direction heartthrob Harry.

The American singer is said to be calling her former flame on a daily basis telling him she is suffering from “crippling loneliness”.

The pair are even said to be planning a meet-up when she returns from her current Red Tour, which kicked off last week.

"Conor has been a real source of comfort to Taylor recently," a source told British magazine Grazia.

Taylor and Harry called time on their brief courtship in January this year. Since their break-up, Taylor has been linked to British musician Tom Odell, who she was pictured with on a date in February. The magazine previously reported that Taylor had even invited Tom to stay with her in Los Angeles. Friends say that after Taylor returned to the US, things have since fizzled out between the duo.

"They get on really well, but it was just a fleeting romance," an insider explained.

Conor, who is part of the Kennedy dynasty, was linked to Taylor from July to October last year. The reason for their split is said to be due to the megastar's busy schedule, which conflicted with 18-year-old Conor's studies. Conor is also said to be highly trusted by the songstress, as he is one of the only romances she is yet to pen a track about.

"She loves that he listens to her worries and he has been a real crutch," the insider divulged. "He's the most down-to-earth person she's dated."
