Taylor Swift: I didn't kidnap Conor

Taylor Swift has laughed off claims she "kidnapped" Conor Kennedy.

The star has spoken about her relationship with the 18-year-old, which has been the subject of negative press since they began dating.

Despite trying to avoid them, Taylor does read the stories written about her and her younger man. In particular the 22-year-old disputed the report that she "kidnapped" Conor by flying him to Nashville.

"How did I kidnap him?" Taylor asked Rolling Stones magazine. "You can't kidnap a grown man! These are serious accusations, now! It's an interesting way to spin something into a story. See, this is why I don't read stuff."

The pop star also spoke about the infamous Kennedy wedding which she was accused of gate crashing. Taylor firmly explained that upstaging the bride is simply not her style.

"I have no idea what happened there. I think that story was based on the biggest misunderstanding, 'cause I would never knowingly show up somewhere that I thought I wasn't invited to," Taylor explained. "And I would never want to upstage anybody."
