Taylor Swift: I've learned from love

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift hopes she doesn't need to be taught the same lesson twice when it comes to men.

The American chart topper is well-known for drawing on her heartache when penning the lyrics of her songs.

Taylor confessed that as well as serving as good material for her singles, her dating mishaps and mistakes serve as stark reminders of what to avoid in a partner in the future.

"I'd like to think I don't have to learn the same lesson twice. As I move on from men that hurt me, or who were just not right, I think I start to narrow it down," Taylor told British magazine Look. "That's the hope anyway!"

Taylor is a self confessed love addict. She is prone to falling for men quickly and often at first sight. The singer is reportedly seeing One Direction star Harry Styles and has credited her obsession with romance for being the reason she continues to pursue boys despite being hurt in the past.

"I've been betrayed, cheated on and tricked, but it's never put me off love," Taylor gushed. "I think about love all the time."
