Taylor Swift debuted the video for her latest single Begin Again on Tuesday and says that it is a new kind of love letter.
The popular country star releases her new album, Red, next week which has already spawned hit single, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
But she tells MTV News that she sought inspiration from the City of Light for the new video.
"It's gonna be, like, a love letter to Paris," she said. "'Cause it's just the city and this story line of somebody moving on and finding yourself again."
Images of bike-riding down cobblestone streets and flashes of Parisian cafes fit in perfectly with her lyrics.
"I think we've all had that day where we just decide to wander around and think about things," she said adding that ultimately it's about the reinvigoration that occurs after heartbreak.
Taylor added that she's enthusiastic to get her fans more involved in the video making process.
"I'm so excited for the videos I wanna shoot for this album," she gushed. "I just can't wait until the fans decide which of the singles [get videos] and what's gonna happen, and it's all up in the air, but I feel it falling into place."
