Tennant to make Doctor Who return?

David Tennant still has his Doctor Who outfits

David Tennant has hinted of a return to Doctor Who for the show's 50th anniversary.

The Scottish star, who played the tenth Timelord from 2005 to 2010, was asked on US programme Attack Of The Show about potential plans to mark the TV hit turning 50.

When asked about a possible appearance, he said: "I cannot be drawn on anything. Who knows what will happen next year? I'm sure there are lots of plans being discussed in quiet rooms by men with long beards and grey hair.

"I'm not confirming or denying anything. Twitter nothing. It's nothing to do with me."

David revealed he does still have his former alter-ego's suit.

He said: "I do have it in a very secure location, yes... I have one of everything that I wore (on Doctor Who). It got given to me in hermetically sealed suit bags at the end, which I have got squirrelled away somewhere - I hope the moths haven't got in. I could be in for a nasty surprise."
