Terrence Howard’s ‘STD tears’
Terrence Howard reportedly cried hard while testifying on Friday, appearing in court on a case attached to monthly payments he’s making to ex-wife Michelle Ghent.
The 46-year-old actor appeared in court August 14 to testify at a hearing in relation to monthly payments he’s making to ex-wife Michelle Ghent.
Following their divorce being finalised in May 2013, Terrence was told to pay Michelle $5,800 a month in spousal support plus 21 per cent of his excess earnings should he take in over $62,500 per quarter. Due to his success on Empire, Michelle brought forth a lawsuit against him a few months back claiming Terrence owes her $508,000, claiming he has not paid the additional 21 per cent of extra pay he made from starring on the hit Fox TV show.
TMZ reports Terrence testified in his own defence on Friday, telling the court he felt pressured to sign the divorce agreement with Michelle because she threatened to tell the world he is suffering from a sexually transmitted disease.
"Michelle was threatening that if I didn't get this mediation, this settlement agreement [signed] she would release to the public that I had herpes and that she would release the videos and audios of me in a very private and intimate place and that I would never be able to work again in this business," he said, according to the New York Daily News. "I was terrified of her releasing the private tapes.”
Apparently the other tapes he is referring to involves a sex video in which he is featured fornicating with another woman.
Terrence wants the original settlement agreement to be thrown out, claiming his signature only reached the document due to extreme duress.
He and Michelle have a history of contentiousness, as she accused him of domestic violence in the past.
