The Prodigy have announced they are coming to Belfast's Odyssey Arena.

The electronic music group, featuring Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim, will play eight gigs on their UK tour supported by special guest Public Enemy.

They will play in Belfast on Tuesday, December 1.

Their sixth studio album The Day Is My Enemy was released on March 30 and with 25 million records sold worldwide, this one is sure to be well received.

Liam Howlett spoke about the new record: "I didn’t plan this album to sound violent, it’s just the sound that came out of the studio , a kind of build up over the last 4 years .

"‘Anger is an energy’, that’s a lyric which always resonated with me. The tension is buried deep in the music right from the first drop. It’s all about the sound having that sense of danger. That’s what The Prodigy sound is about.”

Tickets for The Prodigy's Odyssey Arena gig show go on sale on Friday, May 29 at 9.30am from Ticketmaster and the Odyssey Arena box office.
