The Voice suffers ratings blow

Kylie Minogue performed her new song Timebomb on The Voice

Kylie Minogue's guest appearance failed to be so lucky for BBC1's The Voice as the programme had its worst results show audience so far.

Despite the Aussie star launching her new single Timebomb - and the big reveal of the acts which have made it to the final - the show pulled in just 4.7 million viewers.

Saturday's heat, which also featured a much-anticipated performance by Cheryl Cole, drew the worst audience to date, with just 4.5 million.

And Sunday night's edition was down more than a million on the previous week's results show, which drew 5.8 million.

ITV's Soccer Aid charity match from 8pm to 10pm - in which Robbie Williams's England side beat the Rest Of The World team 3-1 - pulled in an average of six million.

BBC1's Bafta coverage screened at the same time landed 3.5 million viewers.

Next weekend's finale of The Voice will feature Tyler James, Vince Kidd, Leanne Mitchell and Bo Bruce battling it out. Favourites Jaz Ellington and Ruth Brown were eliminated on Sunday.
