The Wanted: Miley hates our twerking

The Wanted

The Wanted reveal that Miley Cyrus felt weird after seeing them twerk.

The 20-year-old singer is credited with bringing the dance craze from urban to pop music.

However the star wasn’t impressed with the way the boyband perform the move recently.

"To be honest, I still don't know what it means," The group’s youngest member Nathan Skyes told MTV News. His bandmate Max George added: "Miley Cyrus said we were the dirtiest twerkers she'd ever seen."

"I think she said weirdest or most bizarre," Jay McGuiness corrected him, with Max agreeing and adding that their interpretation just looks awkward.

"Most bizarre, that was it," Max commented. "It wasn't sexy at all."

The quintet recently pushed back the release date of their upcoming album, Word of Mouth¸ to November 4, but the big screen is on their minds as well as music.

They admitted that if a movie was to be made about them Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson should play Max because he's "massive" like him, and Nathan hopes Sir Ian McKellen would portray him.

However with a naughty reputation forming in the industry about them, the boys wanted to clear up a huge gossip story.

"Lindsay Lohan, when she came out of rehab she came to see us, and the day after someone was printing that we went out and got her off the wagon on her first day out," Jay said about the star who was linked to Max last year. "Not at all, like she was totally cool and we were not encouraging her to be wild. Someone just wrote this huge article, made up quotes, got a source.

“It's like, come on, leave her alone. If you ever read 'a source,' there's no source, it's a source-less sandwich."
