Theron turns heads at the GQ gongs
Hollywood's leading ladies stole the show at the GQ Men of the Year awards.
The annual event awarded gongs to around 20 men who have made their mark in 2011.
But they were upstaged by actresses Charlize Theron and Emma Watson, pop star Kylie Minogue and model Lara Stone on the red carpet.
Abbey Clancy, who gave birth five months ago, also turned heads in a zipped-up lace dress that revealed her underwear, while Kelly Brook opted for a clinging white gown.
Doctor Who star Matt Smith won the most stylish man award at the event, but eyes were on his model girlfriend Daisy Lowe, who arrived at London's Royal Opera House in a lace frock.
Charlize, who presented an international man award to actor Bradley Cooper, managed to dazzle even in grey, Harry Potter star Emma went for a tartan dress teamed with a black biker jacket, Kylie opted for black, and model Lara, whose husband David Walliams is swimming the Thames, dressed in orange.
Sophie Dahl towered in a red and blacked checked number, while singer Pixie Lott wore a one-shouldered black dress.
The awards saw Johnny Depp present a gong to Keith Richards, the rocker who famously inspired his Pirates Of The Caribbean performance.
The Hollywood star, Captain Jack Sparrow in the films, awarded Rolling Stone guitarist Keith, who recently wrote a warts-and-all account of his life as a hellraiser in his autobiography, writer of the year at the ceremony.
Johnny described Keith as "the maestro", and said he was "the true, original rock and roll anti-hero".
