Thieves rob car that killed Walker

Two men have pleaded no contest to stealing part of the Porsche in which Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker died.

Los Angeles County prosecutors shave said that 26-year-old Anthony Janow and 18-year-old Jameson Witty each pleaded no contest to grand theft, destroying evidence and obstructing a peace officer.

Neither defendant had a deal with prosecutors. The judge suggested each would receive about six months in jail.

Walker and driver Roger Rodas died on Novmeber 30 last year when their Porsche Carrera GT crashed in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Clarita.

Prosecutors say Janow and Witty stole a roof panel from the car while a tow truck was stopped at a red light.

Prosecutors say a sheriff's deputy had told them they could not take any part of the vehicle.
