T.I.'s heart is bleeding over the shooting that claimed nearly 30 lives last week.
Adam Lanza, 20, terminally shot 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut last Friday.
America has been in mourning over the loss of life and T.I. is equally devastated by the harrowing event.
"It was tragic," he told MTV's RapFix Live.
"You cannot be a human being with a heart that pumps blood and not feel somethin' about that."
T.I. is particularly touched by how innocent the victims were.
"Especially for those that have kids, your natural instinct is to get to yours and make sure they're okay," he said.
"I just feel like children are off-limits because they perfect, they ain't done nothin', they ain't did nothin' and to cut the lives off of so many young future- [they] could've been future anything. Their opportunity was cut short, behind just some cowardness (sic). I think that needs to be addressed in a major way.
"But to be honest with you, in recent history, the look of danger has changed."
