'We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.'
According to MailOnline, the sporty couple have been romantically linked for a while.
And last month, the golfer reportedly sent his private jet to Austria to fly Lindsey home to Colorado after she injured herself at the Alpine World Championships.
'Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy,” wrote Lindsey.
“I don't plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends.”
Monday’s news comes more than three years after Tiger’s split from ex-wife Elin Nordegren made headlines.
The golfing champion was linked to a slew of women while still married to the Swedish model, with whom he has two children.
Tiger and Elin’s divorce was finalised in August 2010.
