Justin Timberlake has followed through on a promise to take a marine to her unit's annual ball - and said it was one of the most moving nights of his life.
The singer and actor got suited and booted in a sharp tuxedo for the event after fan Cpl Kelsey De Santis invited him through a YouTube video.
Justin posted a photo along with a letter on his website after the Marine Corps Ball in Virginia and said it was "one of the most moving evenings I've ever had".
"I felt so proud to be there. I felt like I was getting a chance to be among my heroes," he wrote.
"Last night changed my life and I will never forget it."
Justin's Friends With Benefits co-star, Mila Kunis, earlier this year accepted a similar invitation to a Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, North Carolina.
The actress - who has been romantically linked with Justin - is due to attend the party with Sergeant Scott Moore on November 18.
