Justin Timberlake has now been asked out by a marine like his Friends With Benefits co-star Mila Kunis.
The singer-turned-actor was pivotal in persuading Black Swan star Mila to accept an invitation to a ball from Sgt Scott Moore and now Corporal Kelsey De Santis, the only female serving at the Martial Arts Centre for Excellence at Marine Corps Base Quantico, has posted an invitation on You Tube for Justin to be her date.
"I saw that, I don't feel backed into a corner at all," he joked to a packed press conference at the Summer of Sony in Cancun where he's currently promoting the film.
"I accept and not because she had all those beefcake marines behind her to intimidate me," he said - though he did add it will depend if his schedule allows.
The invitation isn't the only good news for the 30-year-old as he just received three Emmy nominations for hosting American sketch show Saturday Night Live.
Having arrived in Cancun in the middle of the night, Justin was told about the nominations while he was asleep.
He said: "I was woken up by an elated member of my team and said, 'That's so great, I'm going back to sleep now'."
But he added he was very flattered. "I've been very vocal about my love for SNL and I'm getting a lot of opportunities beyond my ability because of it," he said.
Meanwhile, Mila denied reports she was going to stand up her marine, saying: "I am attending. I will be there. I've been release from work for the day, so I'll be flying in and out."
