Tina Fey calm about final Globes stint
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's period of hosting the Golden Globes is "its own special moment in time".
The 44-year-old comedian and her good friend Amy Poehler are gearing up to host the ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday, marking the third and final time they'll do so. They've made no secret that they won't be taking the gig again, with Tina saying that's part of the fun this time around.
"Listen, it's our last time!" she laughed to E! Online. "What are they going to do; fire us?! Who cares!
"We've had so much fun doing it, but it's its own special moment in time that will end."
Earlier this week Tina told Access Hollywood she and Amy hadn't started work on their script yet. She is still standing by that, although she isn't overly concerned about things. The women have known each other for years and are happy to go with the flow.
However, that could all be a bluff as Tina also claimed she and Amy are yet to select their dresses - although her friend Jane Krakowski suggested that was not entirely true.
"I just saw their dresses," Jane said. "I'm all about that girly stuff! You gotta do it. I think they will look amazing."
Many of the biggest names in Hollywood will be at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles for Sunday's event. Among them will be Jared Leto and Melissa McCarthy, who have joined the list of celebrities handing out trophies. Others to be dishing out the gongs include Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jennifer Lopez.
Birdman leads the nominations with seven, with Boyhood and The Imitation Game trailing behind with five.
